Fitness and strength are really important in climbing.
But think back to your best performances:
Did you climb well on those days because you were somehow fitter or stronger that day?
Or was it because of how focused and immersed you were?
I know my personal answer:
Although I continuously work on becoming fitter and stronger, nothing impacts my climbing as much as the mental aspect—or in other words, my psychology.
And can you have the best climbing experiences without optmising your mindset?
Most climbers primarily think about physical training and neglect their psychology when climbing.
But even if you’re extremely well trained and strong, it’s mental factors such as your motivation, focus and confidence that determine whether that strength translates to good performance.
There are certain optimal performance states.
You already tap into these optimal performance states like 'flow' and 'clutch' from time to time. This is when you climb at your best and have the most enjoyable climbing experiences.
But what if you could access these optimal psychological states reliably, when it matters most?
It gives you an advantage beyond physical strength.
It allows you to break through your plateaus.
And it strengthens—or rather focuses and sharpens—your mind for climbing.
This is one of the main reasons why I've been able to become a professional climber despite other people being stronger and fitter than me.
In 'Performance Hacks', I'll show you how you can do the same, regardless of what your goals are.
You might be wondering why this course is called 'Performance Hacks'?
Most people don't have the time or motivation to spend hours, weeks or months doing mental training.
This is where 'Performance Hacks' come into play.
A 'hack' is a simple technique or strategy.
So in 'Performance Hacks', you'll learn simple techniques and strategies to access optimal performance states before and during climbing.
This—together with the physical training you're already doing—will take your climbing to a whole new level.

Cannot rate this course highly enough! I have read lots of books on mental training for climbing but nothing has been as effective as this course. My Mindset, goals, Metrics and overall mental fitness have improved and I feel confident I have the tools to keep on improving. I enjoy climbing more than ever! Thank you to Hazel and her amazing team.

I learned so much more from this course than I could have expected; I was blown away by both the depth and amount of content! I feel truly empowered with knowledge that I can use not only in my future climbing experiences but also in other sports and even career endeavors. Thank you for recognizing the need for educating climbers on mental training, I think it makes all the difference for our experiences!

One of the most remarkable resources I've found over 7 years of climbing: it was a massive help through mental training and mindset, with both practical lessons and in-depth theoretical ones.
A long-lasting course journey in learning, taking responsibility and setting personal goals.
Thank you SO much guys.

There is no trick that will magic away your fear in climbing.
Just like you can't read a book on physical training and expect to get stronger, you can't do this course and get rid of fear without putting in any work. We can guide you but you have to work hard and do the practice. Like anything, you get out what you put in.
We also can't be there to make sure you're safe, so you need to take responsibility for your own physical and psychological safety when carrying out any of the exercises that we discuss in this course.
Not all the exercises in this course are appropriate for everyone – e.g. we have instructions on trad fall practice that are only appropriate for competent trad climbers.
We'll never ask you to do something you're not comfortable with.
This course is about empowering you with the knowledge and teaching you the skills that will enable you to make better decisions around managing your fear in climbing, whether you're a boulderer, sport climber, indoor top-rope climber or trad climber.
We're giving you every tool, tactic, practice and strategy that we personally use in our own climbing and teach others.
Everything we teach is evidence-based and tried and tested on thousands of students that we've worked with.
Now you might be wondering exactly what you're getting:
You can join the Performance Hacks Program for $367 one-time.
Or you can enrol for 4 small instalments of $107.
But the way I see it, this program is not an expense, it's an investment in your climbing experience.
Few other things will have as big of an impact on your climbing as mental training will have.
And no other kinds of training will benefit other areas of your life in such a powerful way (what can extreme levels of focus and presence do for other areas of your life, for example, your job?)
If you want to sign up for the Performance Hacks Program, and join this year's cohort, click on the button below and secure your place before they're all taken.
As soon as you've signed up for the Performance Hacks Program, you'll get access to our private student-only community.
You'll also receive your login credentials to access the course content, a welcome email and your receipt (make sure you check your promotions folder and junk folder).
But here's the best part:
You'll be plugged into a bad-ass community of fellow climbers who all have similar goals as you and are using mental training to become better climbers.
We stay in constant communication in our private community where you can share experiences, get inspiration, and celebrate your wins.
If you want to sign up for the Performance Hacks Program, and join this year's cohort, click on the button below and secure your place before they're all taken.
In order to provide you with the support you need to get the results you want, we need to limit the number of students in each cohort.
This is the only way we can answer everyone's questions and give you accountability.
Some of our courses have sold out in just a few hours, so make sure you join before the program is full.
There are around 100 places.
Spots are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
